Highlights from Episode 91
In this episode we answered the following questions:
1. “When marketing your new practice, which methods have been proven to show better results over a long period of time in generating clients? I am trying to launch and grow my practice, but am finding it difficult at times. a) SEO – hiring a company to continually update your SEO’s on your page b) hiring a practice accelerator – not sure if this yields results continually over time or not c) networking events – if you could specify why type of events are best or whether or not it’s best to reach out both inside your industry versus outside your industry (which poses an issue with how to market yourself to someone outside of the therapist realm in a way where they are receptive and open to referring others)”
2. “Is it viable to try and build an online counselling practice with no previous client base and does it matter that I live in Tasmania which has a population under half a million? (I have previously worked as a student counsellor in schools and now attempting to start my own business. My husband and I are considering moving interstate if it becomes too hard here. I do not have the Medicare Rebate. I have a degree in Counselling and a Masters in Social Work). Thanks”
3. “I want to put together a marketing folder to leave with businesses, to market my counseling practice. What do you suggest that I put in it, to look professional and polished?”
