Dr. Ellyn Bader has been practicing couples therapy for over 30 years. In this interview, she describes the evolution of her work as a couples therapist. Peter and Ellyn are founders of the Couples Institute in Menlo Park California and are experts in couples’ therapy training. They are creators of The Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, a model that teaches therapists how to diagnose, intervene and significantly help troubled relationships. They have presented workshops to therapists throughout North America, as well as Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia. Ellyn also conducts an online training program for therapists that has had participants from 31 countries.
