Kelly Covert discusses the life coaching business she started with her partner, Maggie Quinn, called Strong Body Whole Heart. We spent a large part of the interview discussing how Kelly and Maggie decided to go into business together and the pros and cons of having a business partner. Kelly then describes her business and the services she offers. [3:09] Kelly shares the story of she and her partner Maggie met, how they became friends and then later started a business together.
[5:00] Kelly describes the partnership agreement that she and her partner developed together before starting their business together.
[7:00] Kelly shares that she was in a business partnership with 3 others previously and what she learned from that experience that she took going into her business partnership with Maggie. She learned to be very clear in what each partner’s vision is for the business as well as have a strong working relationship.

[27:28] Kelly discusses her marketing strategy and how they grow their business. She describes that they have many opt-in offers to help build their email list. They run ads on Facebook and offer webinars and they also do local marketing including attend health fairs and offering local workshops. She also discussed the importance of building relationships with people.
[31:25] Kelly shares their biggest challenge is growing their business. She also mentions the importance of having realistic expectations for running a business.
