Highlights from Episode 50
1. Jodie Gale – http://jodiegale.com/
“Hi Juliet and Clinton. I have 3 Facebook pages: The Psychosynthesis Centre which is aimed at psychotherapists for my psychosynthesis training. Mindful Women (https://www.facebook.com/mindfulwomen/) and now Women, Body, Food & Soul (https://www.facebook.com/WomenBodyFoodSoul/?fref=ts) which is in line with my new narrowed down niche and new website next year).
Mindful Women has nearly 1500 followers. I have never really liked the name Mindful Women but my first choice was already taken. My question is, should I just change the name from Mindful Women to Women, Body, Food & Soul (even though I can’t change the URL) and delete my Women, Body, Food & Soul page (where I only have 100+ followers so far but the url)? Or should I change Mindful Women to my name Jodie Gale (same issue re URL)? This is the 3rd time I have had to start again re naming/starting pages so on the one hand, Jodie Gale makes sense to me, on the other hand, I think a themed page builds followers faster to do with the interest.”
2. Ruth
“I feel I market my business in a very scattered way. I don’t have a business plan or a marketing plan which may help, but I don’t know where or how to make one. I don’t even know if it is important to make one or what I would put in it. Can you help? ”
3. Jesse – Psychotherapist, Raleigh, North Carolina
“I’m starting to do more email marketing and am having success with sending a newsletter to my subscribers twice a month. I’ve been hearing that it’s important to segment your email list. I’m not sure I understand what this means or how to do it. Can you please explain it and if it’s important for me to worry about at this stage?”
