Highlights from Episode 27
Question 1: Howard Todd-Collins – Melbourne, Australia www.menandrelationships.com.au
“Love your podcasts guys, congratulations. I have a Facebook business page, LinkedIn and Pinterest Account and about to launch a newsletter/blog. My question is regarding blog posts and my social media accounts. Is it wise to share my posts across ALL social media accounts? Would you recommend Hootsuite or an alternative to manage this? Many thanks. Howard”
Question 2: Kayden, psychologist, London, UK
“Hi, Juliet and Clinton. Thanks for your great podcast! I really appreciate your free members program that I joined just last week. The transcripts are great – I can quickly scan the content of each episode when I don’t have time to listen.
In the UK we have very strict ethical codes about marketing a psychology practice, which prohibits the use of client testimonials. I constantly get wonderful feedback from clients (some who insist they write me a testimonial, which I have to decline) that I can’t use. Do you have any suggestions how I can use these successful cases and feedback in a way that doesn’t breach my ethical code? Thanks in advance!”
Question 3: Catharina – Australia
“Hi Clinton and Juliet,
In the past 5 years I have gone through major surgeries and 2 interstate moves. Not knowing what the future held, I kept my practice small during this time, and changed over to a less stressful niche.
I am now ready and biting at the bit to create a flourishing practice again. However, how confusing would this be for people, after 2 niches: 2 websites, 2 practice names…?
How best to move forward? Would it be ok to just create another website, fresh marketing materials and directory listing and move on? Or should I, for example, put something brief in the About page about why things are different yet again?
Many thanks for any insights you might have. Cheers, Catharina”
