Question 1: Frank – “What are the fastest ways to build an email list?”
Juliet stated that using social media ads is the fastest way to build an email list. She emphasized that the ad has to be eye-catching, worded well, and have a compelling offer so that people will more likely click-thru to your website. There should also be an attractive landing page with all the necessary elements for it to be effective in capturing leads.
Clinton mentioned LeadPages.com as a great tool for creating effective landing pages. He stated some of its features such as being able to easily track the number of click-thrus and opt-ins to your site.
Question 2: Margaret – “When is the right time to start adding associates to my practice?”
Clinton said that the right time to start adding associates to your practice is when you’re getting more clients than you have time to see. He also mentioned a few associate models including the one that he’s using. Juliet stressed the importance of selecting the right people to take on as associates, making sure that your visions and goals are aligned with them. Juliet also suggested that you should consider the wants and needs of your potential associates before hiring them so that you’re both clear on expectations, and that your goals are in alignment.
Question 3: Rita Barnett ( www.ritabarnett.com.au) – “Previously, you’ve referred to short term, medium term and long-term strategies in regards to marketing. Could you please talk about which activities link with which categories, and how to plan it out?”
Juliet cited Google adwords and counselling directories as examples of short-term marketing strategies. She stated that building an email list, having an effective social media strategy, and blogging, as examples of long-term strategies.
Clinton emphasized the importance of hard work you put in order to grow your business and how it can positively affect your business in the long run. Juliet also added that email lists and social media are keys in sustaining your business long-term.
